This is a Permanent, Full Time vacancy that will close in {x} days at {xx:xx} BST.

This is an opportunity for an ambitious operations professional to help make V&A East’s vision a reality.

V&A East Storehouse is a radical reimagining of the museum archive. The V&A’s collections will be made accessible through immersive interactive experiences and the building will be home to the David Bowie Centre for Performing Arts.

We have also reimagined our Floor Manager role, which is a hybrid role responsible for overseeing the both the day-to-day front of house and security operations at Storehouse; ensuring that visitors and diverse audiences feel welcome, engaged and safe, in line with the V&A’s core values. This is a new kind of duty management role at the V&A, and there will be excellent opportunities for training and development to ensure we provide you with a career-enhancing skillset.

This role will lead a team of front of house assistants, so we are looking for people who enjoy and have experience of motivating and developing high performing operational teams.

This role will also play a key role in defining how V&A East establishes and builds its identity as a leading cultural hub.

We are incredibly excited about the team we are building, and we are looking for forward-thinking, proactive and solution-focused operational colleagues with whom we can ensure the success of V&A East.

For more information, please read the attached job description.

Full and part time positions available, so please include the position you are interested in on your application form.

We particularly welcome applications from those living in our surroundings boroughs (Hackney, Newham, Tower Hamlets and Waltham Forest) to help build our V&A East Museum and Storehouse for and by the local communities.

We occasionally close vacancies early in the event we receive a high volume of applications. Therefore, we recommend you apply early.
